I’m not talking about Halloween. I’m talking about trump Day. Because every day is trump Day. And every day is eerie.

But this mixtape probably could be used for a haunted house vibe for those observing Halloween, no doubt.

No talking at all in this mixtape, as is the practice for the CC Mixtapes. This is a mix of eerie music. Some of it is deliberately eerie, and some of it poetically eerie. Besides the vibe, the tracks share in common the use of electricity to some extent or other. There’s electroacoustic from Saariaho, Oehring, Mashayekhi, ter Schiphorst and Cezar, musique concrète from Ferrari, and pure electronic from a bunch of people…

The other thing these tracks and excerpts share in common is that they are all works of genius, which is a word I seldom use these days outside of the classical music context. The playlist is below.
